The semi-finals are officially set for the PNGDF Commander’s Cup following an action-packed final round of pool matches on Tuesday, September 29.

Here is how the main draw and Plate division finals have shaped up:

Moem Muruks booked their spot in dominant fashion, shutting out the Long Range Troopers 15–0.

Igam Crocs, the defending champions, held off a resilient Lombrum Sharks side 21–15 to join the Muruks from Pool A.

FSB Tigers claimed bragging rights in the battle of Murray Barracks, defeating the HQ Chiefs 20–10 in Pool B.

Basilisk Marlins rounded out the top four with a high-scoring 36–12 win over the ATW Eagles.

The tournament is not over for the remaining teams.

After finishing third and fourth in their respective pools, the Long Range Troopers, HQ Chiefs, Lombrum Sharks and Taurama Diggers will drop into the Plate division to battle for secondary silverware.

The finals will be played on Friday, October 2.

At 10am, the Long Range Troopers will face the HQ Chiefs, followed by the Lombrum Sharks taking on the Taurama Diggers.

The FSB Tigers will then take on the 2RPIR Muruks, while the main match of the day will see a rematch of the 2023 Cup final, with the Igam Crocs facing the Basilisk Marlins.
