Sorovi Primary School, one of the top-performing primary schools in Oro Province, has successfully completed the 2026 National Grade 8 Examinations for its 79 students.

Head Teacher Mrs. Yula Cimon confirmed this when addressing parents, students, and teachers during a small closing program held today to mark the end of the examination week.

Mrs. Cimon said despite the challenges of El Niño and ‘Don’t Care’ activities affecting the province, the school successfully delivered both the Grade 8 National Examinations and the Grade 6 Benchmark Examinations simultaneously.

“God has protected the school, students and teachers to date, and the Grade 8 National Exams were conducted peacefully,” Mrs. Cimon said.

She extended her gratitude to the external and internal invigilators from Resurrection Primary School, Popondetta Primary School and Sorovi Primary School for their tireless commitment over the last four days.

The closing program included speeches from the BOM Chairman, external invigilators, teachers and parents, followed by a token of appreciation (Bondo) from the Grade 8 parents.
